Sous Chef – Golf Club – Richmond - £28k


Fantastic opportunity for a chef to join a prestigious golf club in Richmond. They pay a fantastic salary plus overtime, straight shifts, 40 hours per week, with any overtime given back in lieu.

 They cater for weddings and functions as well as members. Food is fresh, operating in two kitchen’s (one banqueting one for general bar food). Work under a fantastic Head Chef who can help you train and develop!


Main duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef (Richmond):
  • Supporting with menu development and design taking into account the nutritional requirement of healthy eating cuisine.
  • Supporting the Head Chef in recruiting, managing, training and performance of all kitchen staff to high standards.
  • To take responsibility for the management and running of the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef including supervising of staff.


What you need to be successful in the Sous Chef role (Richmond):
 
  • Experienced Sous Chef having worked in a high quality establishment.
  • Experience of working with strict Health and Hygiene regimes
  • Experience of ordering and menu pricing.
  • Developing staff and passing on knowledge and skills
    • Must have a passion and love for food.
    • An enthusiasm for the role and for the hospitality and leisure industry in general.
