This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of something big. This brand new gastro pub on the outskirts of Basingstoke are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join the team, supporting and deputising in the Head Chef and Sous Chefs absence.
The Junior Sous Chef will ensure a high standard of food is served always and to assist the Head Chef in effectively running the kitchen day to day, achieving all operational and commercial targets.

- You must be able to work under pressure, as part of a large team and have great attention to detail.
- Work closely alongside the Head chef, supporting they each day in the running of the kitchen and team.
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim.
