Junior Sous chef - Beautiful Country Hotel - £25,500 + Great Tips

I am currently looking for a dedicated, organised Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team, at this beautiful countryside hotel near Honiton.

One of the most exciting award-winning hotel and restaurant groups in the UK.

A Junior Sous Chef role like no other.  You will be working with a menu that is influenced by the kitchen gardens and the local area which can change by the hour.

It can be challenging at times but very rewarding.

As a Junior Sous Chef you will:
  • Be running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef & Sous chef.
  • Helping to manage all aspects of the kitchen.
  • Overseeing sections.
  • Costings.
  • Rotas.
  • Stock take.
  • Maintaining standards.
  • Daily health and safety checks.
  • Managing and motivating the rest of the team.
  • We want a junior sous chef to be passionate and enthusiastic about modern British food.
Passion is the key to our success, so we want you to be enthusiastic about our food, our animals, the kitchen garden, foraging, and everything you do.

Experience in a similar role is essential as is your own transport due to the hotel being in a rural location.

The annual salary is £25,500 with the addition of points based service charge.
