The key responsibilities for the Heads of Human Resources role will be to lead and direct a specific area of HR and add value to the business through policy and strategy development, business planning, service delivery and governance. This role will also involve ensuring that the agency’s values underpin all HR activity through both their personal behaviour and by embedding the NCA’s values in every one of the policies and processes in their area of responsibility. Each jobholder will build productive working relationships by segmenting and managing multiple stakeholder groups in complex environments and develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
The ideal candidates will have a track record of successfully developing HR capability and a proven HR background and demonstrable knowledge of leading HR practice including employment law demonstrated through MCIPD or equivalent experience. You must also have the ability to lead multi-functional HR teams through change and a proven ability of working collaboratively with partners across the organisation to provide high quality services and strategic advice based on strong workforce planning principles.
Successful candidates will be required to combine sound judgment with a pragmatic approach - balancing integrity of process with a can do mentality. They will also be adept at juggling multiple requirements, ensuring the needs of the NCA are met, at the same time as those of external partners.
