Catering Manger £30,000 - £35,000 - Milton Keynes

Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a High Security Contract Catering Site.

Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including hazard analysis and critical control points) and food preparation

Scope

Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided to customers in line with Company standards

Keeping to budgets and maintain financial and administrative records

Maintaining records of payroll and attendance

Plan orders of equipment according to identified shortages

Report any equipment problems or defects

Ensuring nutrition and sanitisation regulations and safety standards are adhered to

Ability to dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress

Positive communication and leadership skills

Up-to-date with food & beverage trends bringing the best of the High Street to the customer

Planning menus in consultation with Head Chef ensuring GP and wastage control targets are achieved

Ordering food/non-food supplies as necessary

HR Activities including performance management, recruiting, training, supervising and motivating permanent and temporary staff.

Organising staff rotas

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded and archived.

Recognised qualification in catering/hospitality
