As a key member of the Guidewire Platform Support Team (a team of 14 people), you will be charged with providing the technical leadership required to define the future direction of the Guidewire Development Support Team. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving through Continuous Improvements to our environment configuration and deployment pipelines.
The Guidewire Development Support Team, are an integral part of the Guidewire Platform Team which totals around 130 people. They provide services to the wider development and testing tracks including the provision and maintenance of all CI / CD pipelines, AWS cloud environments and the ongoing maintenance of the on-premise non-production environments.
An opportunity to join this technical team exists for an individual with the appropriate technical and leadership skills.
Purpose of role:
The Platform Specialist provides technical leadership and support to the Guidewire Development Support Team and the wider community of Software Engineers, Technical Designers and Infrastructure Designers, to support Change and Run activities for the Guidewire applications.
