ABOUT NICHOLSON GLOVER

Established in 2002, Nicholson Glover is a boutique recruitment consultancy, specializing in the search and placement of professionals within the Market Research, Insights and Brand Strategy niche marketing verticals.

We are a vibrant, fun and professional agency that believe in a consultative approach to recruitment. There is truly no pressure to ‘close a deal’ which is typically indicative of the sales industry, but instead we focus on developing exceptionally strong long-lasting relationships with candidates and clients built on mutual respect, trust and integrity.

We recruit across all industry sectors and our client list ranges from Fortune 500 companies such as MTV, eBay, Disney, M&S, John Lewis, MARS and Cancer Research, through to SME’s, start-ups and leading consultancies.

Our offices are based in central London, at Aldwych, and are easily accessible by both tube (Temple, Holborn, Covent Garden) and rail (Charing Cross, Waterloo, Blackfriars).

JOB DESCRIPTION: OFFICE ASSISTANT

SALARY: £20,000-23,000 DOE

This is a newly created role within our business. We are ambitious and are looking to grow, which means we need an organized, proactive and motivated individual to help provide support to our high performing team.

Dolly Parton may have worked 9-5, but you don’t have to. We’re really open to a chat about flexible working for the right, committed individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering the phone and directing calls appropriately.

• Database administration including uploading CVs to the database and regularly updating information on existing candidates.

• Formatting candidate CVs and proofreading them for errors, so that the CVs are ‘client ready’.

• Scheduling meetings with candidates on behalf of fellow team members.

• Arranging candidate interviews with clients.

• Writing creative and engaging job adverts to draw in potential candidates; posting adverts on our website, jobboards and via social media.

• Writing and sending monthly e-shots/newsletters to engage candidates.

Prior office experience is desirable, although full training will be provided. Plus, there is a path to progression for the right person, so if you are keen to take the role further, we can offer additional resourcing responsibilities with financial based incentives; or even possibly a transition to a Consultant role if you show the desired willingness and aptitude!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re not looking for specific qualifications – what’s important is that you’re a bright spark who is driven and enthusiastic. You’ll need to be super organized and bring high energy to the team.

Being a team player is important; you’ll be working closely with our small, tight-knit team, helping-out in the office where necessary and being an integral part of the business.

You will have strong spoken and written English and be the type of person who has an appetite for building relationships and connecting with people at all levels. Most of all, you are the type of person who gets things done!

Does this sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
