• Coaching and training of Mortgage Intermediaries, over the phone, to make sure they have a full understanding of the mortgage market, our goals and direction as a business
• Identifying new opportunities whilst developing and maintaining strong business relationships
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of mortgage products and other regulatory issues and making sure we meet our regulatory obligations to the intermediary mortgage channel
• Planning 2-3 weeks ahead and will need to react to changes in the market, in particular rates, new products and specific business needs
• Setting expectations of what we can and can’t do and the required time frames
• Working closely with brokers on new and existing cases and supporting the wider team with the processing of applications
You need to be this kind of person…

• Able to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced, fun and dynamic environment
And whilst we always aim to train for skill where possible, on this occasion we are looking for someone who is already able to do all these wonderful things...
• Excellent and proven relationship management and stakeholder management skills
• Good knowledge and experience of the mortgage market
• Understanding of the intermediary/direct mortgage sectors
• Good mortgage product and policy knowledge, as well as understanding the competition
• Resilient to change and able to adapt quickly
